The 2025 Abbotsford Virtual Airshow will be held on July 26th and 27th 2025. Running an airshow is no small task that can be handled by just a few people. Rather, it requires a team effort to allow the show to live up to everything it can be. As such, we are looking for a few volunteers to join the AVA2025 staff team. The positions offered are:
Camera Operator - This role is responsible for filming the airshow on their flight simulator and sending their feed to one of the streamers to have the show broadcasted on Twitch/YouTube.
Developer - This role is responsible for helping to assist the current events team with finding or creating model matching sets for the show and/or creating airshow scenery for the community to enjoy.
Announcer - This role is for anyone that enjoys public speaking, has a passion for aviation and a great voice!
Social Media Assistant: This role is for anyone with knowledge in common socail media platforms and video editing to help prepare promotional material for the show.

Note that regardless of your experience, or computer specs we will try to find a role for you if you're legitimately interested. We will inform you whether or not you were selected for one of the roles within the next few weeks.
