Question: Where are you holding the show?

Answer: Abbotsford, BC (CYXX)

Question: Will there be a pilot/viewer briefing?

Answer: Yes! It will be closer in the "Info section and in our discord as we approach the show date.

Question: How will you guys get music and announcements?

Answer: We will be using a Discord stage channel in this Discord server to play announcements and music. We will also be streaming the announcements and music to YouTube for those who don't have a Discord account. See the pilot briefing for more information!

Question: Where can I find model matching?

Answer: Check out the pilot briefing and the model matching channel in our discord.

Question: Can I perform? I promise I'm really good at flying (insert aircraft type here)!

Answer: To maintain the highest degree of professionalism, we have invited certain vSOA’s to participate. If you are not a member of a vSOA you can submit an application to fly in the show under the "Get Involved" tab.

Question: When will the show be happening?

Answer: The airshow will happen on June 1st 2024 at 1900z. There will be a fly-in/out before and after the show.

Question: Will I be able to connect as an observer and walk around as if I was there?

Answer: Yes! As per the team of supervisors that will be watching the event, it has been deemed that connecting as an observer to watch the airshow WILL NOT be a violation of rule A9 of the CoC as you are still, technically speaking, participating in the airshow.

Question: But shutting down an airfield to allow for performances is against the VATSIM CoR!

Answer: We plan to allow a short downtime between every other performance or so to allow for a few departures and arrivals in or out. The CZVR FIR will also be hosting a fly-in and fly-out before and after the show so save your flying for then if at all possible!
